Staple Piece: The Shearling Jacket

Good evening everyone, hope you're all well! It's now halfway through November already and December is right around the corner which I'm super excited about. I'm going to be taking part in the Christmas Bloggers Brawl event where I review 10 beauty products (one everyday) that I have never used before and give my opinion on them as well as an overall rating out of 100. It's going to be my first time blogging throughout the Christmas period and so I really want to make the most of it by blogging about Christmas related stuff throughout the whole of December!

Tonight I will be talking about this staple piece which is this black shearling jacket from Pretty Little Thing. I managed to grab it for 30% off the original price during a sale that they were having the other day. I love the beige shearling jackets, but since I've already got one in the style of a bomber jacket, I decided to get this style in black instead. This jacket has been seen everywhere and is being sold in every store this season because it's such a fashionable staple piece, and so it was only right to get one myself. The fit is slightly oversized and it's pretty warm due to the shearling fur on the interior. At the bottom of the jacket there is a removable sort of belt. Personally, I will not be buckling up the belt, but I will be keeping it on to add some detail to the jacket. I styled this jacket with my grey Jamie jeans from Topshop which I absolutely love as well as this grey ribbed Topshop cami crop top. To top off the look, I put on a pair of these leather boots from Miss Selfridge which have a leopard print heel. The heel on these boots is gorgeous and adds some sass to the boots contrasting from the plain leather front.
